| These wooden nesting santas have been with us since Alyssa was a little girl. They are part of the “touchable” decor. It makes me happy to see them lined up on the windowsill, especially as the sun rises behind them. |
Funny

| It’s Funny how some of the most delicious things are some of the ugliest, too. This is date pecan filling for the date pinwheel cookies I make each year for the holidays. |
Real

| On pinterest I see photos of gorgeous crafting and studio spaces — really impressive and inspiring. We are fortunate to have a “project room” off our kitchen. It functions as an office, homeschool storage, playroom (now for visitors), and general workspace. For a couple of weeks this year, gift-wrapping activities take precedence and messedence. Neither impressive nor inspiring, but oh-so real. |
